ok , you don’t believe in God (btw you capitalize the G) then explain to me our existence, explain to me what do you think happens to us after we die?

"Potted" in this context means "summarized or abridged." So basically the reviewer is saying that the book gives a summarized history meant to stimulate conversation between faiths. Hope this helps!

That is your opinion. Why don’t you let him be? For me, I think religious people are so manipulated by their beliefs that it’s quite fun for me to watch. And I understand that it’s the best feeling for you. However, have you ever thought about why some people are not Christian? Ask yourself that. Not everyone can have the same thought as your’s.

Watch this whole playlist and you'll know the real reason for the war in Libya. Gaddafi isn't the bad guy, and we need to stop our governments before its too late. Our media is lying to us big time, as usual.

Could be a conflct of interest, since Fox said RMPRS was 'hired' to find spirits.

But having watching the video, I come away feeling the chair is an interesting little mystery, that at this point RMPRS is making no other claims about it except 'unexplained', that the Yak and Yeti has more to the story I have not heard (since there didn't seem enough reason for them to call an investigation in the first place), and that Fox filled time for a fun little human interest segment.

I think I know the song you are thinking of…..but I have no idea what the name of it is. It is a narration set to the music of Silent Night…right?

You might try calling your local Christian radio station……or try to get a e-mail to "N. R. Ray" on XM's channel 10…..I think that is the two places I have heard it……Good Luck!!

    Here's a couple suggestions.

For one thing, she could check the Vatican website, which sometimes mentions various groups, etc., that are in full agreement with Catholic teaching.

Second, check the website of the group she is interested in. You can tell a lot by what they say about the Pope (if anything, sometimes they just ignore him). After a while she'll get a sense about certain words that indicate where they're coming from.
For example, if a religious congregation of sisters has photos or news items of them marching in protests about the environment or other trendy liberal issues, they're likely on the liberal side. But if they have something about Eucharistic adoration, prayer, the Bible, they're likely either middle of the road or more conservative.

The Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in an effort to overthrow its government and take control of the country. We supported the Mujahadin in that war and the Stinger missiles we provided to them rendered the Soviet air force all but impotent. Fortunately, Stingers have a limited lifespan and most of the ones they have left are inoperable.

Most people in Afghanistan hate the Taliban much more than they hate us. They lived under the Taliban and have no desire to see it return. Once they see that we are winning, they will report every Taliban to us and, if we are smart, we will kill them on the spot. That is the way to wage a ware. KILL the enemy.

Do you really believe Afghan women want to go back to living under what amounts to house arrest?

That, I can agree with. Unfortunately though, atheism is often used in a similarly damaging fashion, which leads me to believe we must focus on the damage done, and not the specific religion(s), or lack there of.

Your thoughts are scientifically not accessible therefore they don't exist until you give me some “scientific evidence” for them! ;-)

You know, Yahoo! Answers isn't your personal homework machine, especially for questions that require a reading of the book in question (in this case, Yann Martel's "Life of Pi").

I recommend actually **reading the book** and answering the question yourself to better prepare you for anything your teacher may have planned. Personally, I'd focus on chapter 17, as it focuses on Pastor Martin and his discussion with Pi, where Pi makes the abovementioned questions regarding Christ.

Because it is a deceptive religion, it poses as a peaceful religion, with no compulsion. Once you are indoctrinated, then you realise it's peace if your muslim only, and it's no compulsion until there is enough manpower to establish an islamic state using force if needed. This means no other religion will do only Islam.

That's why you hear of converts committing acts of terrorism, they follow islam to the letter. the moderate muslims hardly even pray. It's acts are a threat to freedom.

Problem is, in the bible, god commanded the slaughter of children to soldiers & even employed the angel of death to do the same. I don't consider it objective morality when god is immune from it. WLC attributes goodness to god's nature, but his actions are clearly not good. Where in the bible does it say thou shalt not rape? And yet our morals have evolved to a point that majority of people know rape is immoral.
